Ashley Holmertz was a shining example of the work that God can do through bad situations. This 23 year-old fought cancer since she was a senior in high school. Anyone who met Ashley not only saw her outer beauty, but her inner beauty as well. Her optimism and love for Christ was always contagious even when her health was at its worst. To say Ashley was a fighter is an understatement--it was a true testament to her faith.
The Lord took Ashley home today, but her shining example on earth will not fade away anytime soon.
